We are looking experienced QA Manual Tester to join a growing organisation in the renewable energy sector that’s actively rebuilding and strengthening its QA capability. This is a hands-on, manual-testing–focused role within a business where QA has historically been siloed. The focus now is on creating a flexible, cross-functional QA function, with testers embedded in Agile teams and working closely with developers to raise quality across the board. 🔍 The Role This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Manual QA Engineer who enjoys variety, working across multiple systems, and taking real ownership of quality in an environment without existing automation. 💻 You’ll be heavily involved in: Delivering robust manual testing across business-critical systems Cross-functional testing across multiple applications as priorities shift Testing vendor releases and bespoke in-house applications Supporting regression testing (no existing automation pack) Working closely with developers to validate all releases Helping break down QA silos and shape a more cohesive QA capability 🧠 What You’ll Bring ✔ Renewable Energy / Energy sector experience (or strong domain knowledge) ✔ Strong background in Manual QA (automation not required) ✔ Experience testing across multiple systems, not just one application ✔ Comfortable working in Agile teams alongside developers ✔ Exposure to Microsoft-based tech stacks, including: – C# – SQL – Vue.js 📍 Manchester – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) 📆 6-month rolling contract 💷 £500 per day (Inside IR35)
