Role Summary The Government Relations Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with governmental and regulatory authorities in Bahrain and providing end-to-end Government Relations support for both the tMart and Logistics verticals. The role ensures regulatory compliance, supports business continuity and expansion, and acts as the primary liaison between the Company and external stakeholders. What's On Your Plate?  Serve as the Government Relations focal point for both the tMart and Logistics verticals in Bahrain, providing end-to-end support across all operational, licensing, regulatory, labor, and governmental affairs matters, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and supporting the expansion and day-to-day operations of both businesses.  Manage and support the establishment, licensing, renewal, and ongoing regulatory requirements for all tMart stores, Logistics operations, riders, vehicles, and related facilities, ensuring uninterrupted business operations and compliance with all relevant governmental requirements.  Handle correspondence, responses to requests, and coordinate with the Ministry of Interior, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Traffic Directorate, and other law enforcement authorities in relation to incidents, accidents, investigations, and official inquiries involving employees, riders, 3PL partners, or customers, and represent the Company before such authorities when required.  Manage the renewal and maintenance of all corporate licenses and official registrations, including Commercial Registration (CR), Trade License, Chamber of Commerce membership, import licenses, municipality licenses, and any other regulatory permits required for the Company's operations.  Oversee all activities on the LMRA portal, including new work visa applications, renewals, cancellations, amendments, and business visa processing.  Coordinate the issuance and renewal of employees’ CPR cards, liaising with the relevant government authorities and municipalities to obtain address certificates and advertising permits where required.  Administer all GOSI-related processes, including employee registration and deregistration, annual salary updates, work injury reporting, and resolving discrepancies related to employee records and invoices.  Handle the end-to-end process for employees’ driving licenses, including document preparation, online appointment scheduling, and coordination with the Ministry of Interior until issuance or renewal is completed.  Manage the Tamkeen portal by registering employees, identifying and applying for eligible support programs, submitting required company documentation, and following up on approvals, invoices, and reimbursements.  Coordinate the issuance of family visit visas and business visit visas through the NPRA portal, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.  Process and renew health certificates and other employee-related approvals with the Ministry of Health (MOH), National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Social Insurance Organization (SIO), and other relevant authorities.  Liaise with internal departments to obtain regulatory approvals and permits for campaigns, promotions, rewards programs, and marketing initiatives from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MOIC), Consumer Protection Authority, and other competent authorities.  Support customs clearance activities and coordinate with the relevant authorities for import and export requirements whenever applicable.  Lead the licensing and establishment process for new branches and locations, obtaining all required approvals and permits from the Ministry of Industry, municipalities, Civil Defense Authority, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, and other regulatory bodies.  Handle customer complaints filed before the Consumer Protection Authority and other governmental entities, represent the Company during meetings and hearings, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve amicable resolutions.  Prepare, attest, notarize, and legalize contracts, agreements, and corporate documents before the competent authorities, embassies, and public notaries whenever required.  Represent the Company before public notaries and relevant authorities in connection with POAs, Board Resolutions, corporate amendments, changes to authorized signatories, and other corporate governance matters.  Coordinate with sponsors, authorized signatories, shareholders, and senior management to facilitate their attendance before government authorities whenever required.  Obtain all required governmental approvals and permits related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and community engagement activities.  Monitor regulatory developments and governmental procedural changes and proactively inform the Legal and relevant business teams of any changes that may impact the Company's operations.  Manage all Traffic Directorate related processes, including vehicle registrations, registration book renewals, advertising permits, driving licenses, and any other requirements relating to riders and 3PL partners.  Review, reconcile, and coordinate the settlement of violations, fines, and notices issued by governmental entities, including the Traffic Directorate, municipalities, Ministry of Health, and other competent authorities.  Handle the filing, registration, renewal, and protection of trademarks, trade names, logos, and intellectual property rights, and coordinate with the Trademark Authority and relevant authorities for their use in campaigns and advertising activities.  Represent the Company before governmental authorities and regulatory bodies and act as the primary point of contact for all external governmental affairs matters in Bahrain.
